Tortilla Wrap Variations Recipe
CHOOSE TORTILLA:
Flour, whole wheat flour, gluten-free,
or carb control flour
CHOOSE SPREAD:
Light or whipped cream cheese, flavored
hummus, mustard and/or small amount of
mayonnaise or creamy salad dressing
CHOOSE PROTEIN:
Thin-sliced lean ham, turkey, or roast beef
and/or reduced-fat cheese: Sliced cheddar,
swiss, provolone, pepper jack, string cheese
CHOOSE GREENS:
Spinach, mixed spring greens, romaine,
arugula, butter lettuce
CHOOSE VEGETABLES:
Carrots (sticks or shredded), sliced
bell peppers, shredded cabbage, diced
tomato, thin-sliced cucumber, radish
slices, zucchini slices, olives, onions
ASSEMBLY:
- Spread tortillas with spread of choice
- Layer meat, cheese, vegetables & greens
- Roll tortilla; slice into rounds, if desired.
